I shave down below and i have not long got red spots around my bikini dash....?

is it something to be worried about or is it merely where the hair should be? i dont want to see a doctor. its quite red and could it be herpes :S:S:S

It's merely ingrown hairs / cut-throat burn from a very close shave. Your skin take a while to get used to shaving, so single shave with the pellet of the hair while getting used to it, later after a while switch to shaving sideways to the grain, after you can switch to shaving against to the grain if you want/can.

It's probably shaving over-hasty. I would suggest just getting wax strips from a chemist. It would hurt at first but you adapt the pain and it doesn't progress all itchy after. Waxing would be best.

probably only irritated from shaving. Could be razor burn also. try bikini zone gel when you shave. it exfoliates the skin in the past you shave to help prevent ingrown hair and irritation. after shaving, try putting some lotion on that helps prevent further irritation.

Now I use Nair for the bikini column. I've only done it once so far and second time I did it my skin did get irritated. i used cocoa butter on the bumps. It help with the itch and burn. It really does assist. Put it on a few times a day.
