No period and multiple (-) HPT! What give?
SO! My period is 2 weeks behind, and after NUMEROUS negative HPT's I'm really wondering what the heck is going on. I have a little discharge almost a week and a half ago, but nil since then. I own preggers 5 times - and know I'm not pg (the small fortune I've spent on HPT's tells me so.) I am 44 - could it be menopause? Heck - I am too darn childish!

It may be precipitate Menopause, but it may not, they say precipitate menopause is before 45, so you are probably borderline. but conspicuously see a DR, life is short, so don't mess around next to medical problems!!

Unfortunately it could be menopause or pre-menopause. It also could be stress, excessive exercise, cargo loss, weight gain, and several other things. If it continues, see your doctor for a blood exam.It could be menopause, but there are a multitude of other conditions that can wreak amenorrhea (lack of menses) not due to pregnancy, such as polycystic ovary syndrome, metabolic syndrome, pituitary disorders, etc, etc etc.

I skip period sometimes. Its entirely normal to a moment ago skip a period. Now, if you skip multiple period and you're not pregnant, that's cause for concern. I wouldn't verbs about it. It happen to me at least once a year.
