What should I bring my wife, who is staying in hospital?


My wife had a an allergic recoil, it was serious adequate that I took her to hispital. She has have to stay in A&E overnight...but what can I bring her, approaching food - because I am worried her system is low...any ideas to build her stay, which could be several days, more comfortable? Thanks!

If she is allergic to certain foods you will involve to be careful beside giving her foods stuffs.

As a few people said magazine or puzzle books would be good, especially if they are her fondness type of magazine. Roses are lovely and would make her smile.

Bring pictures of her and you and your kids. Anything where she looks run of the mill and having fun. Trust me.I work within a hospital and that has a core effect on the staff. It helps us remember that we are treating a individual with a kith and kin and a life and not lately some patient surrounded by a plain gown. I love it when people do this and it make me want to do everything I can to help them obtain better.

just being within for her will be helpful if she's up and awake. when I be in for 4 days it sucked that not a soul - even my husband was in that. I was bored to tears. if you can't be in that for company and she's not going to be sleeping the whole time (depending on how discouraging she's doing or the medicine they distribute her), bring her something to keep her settled (like a game or cards), a pillow from home, a pen and dissertation if she wants to write and some snacks that she's allowed to own per hospital policy (i.e.- pretzels or anything else that won't go unpromising without refrigeration)

How can i put on wieght?

Take her some snacks that she will like and fruit liquid maybe? But also hold her some stuff to keep her boredom down, such as magazine, books etc. And of course pick up a bunch of flowers and a nice find well soon card on your bearing just to show how much you love her! Hope she get better soon x

It's probably not a good theory to bring her food at the hospital. Instead, bring her things like flowers, a sweet card, a favorite pillow or blanket... Things similar to that. ^^

Well Im sure you know your wife better than we do, so think almost her favourite treats, approaching sweets or fruit or something like that. I agree to bring her in the thesis and a mag.

Homemade chicken soup is a great `feel suitable' food. If you can't make it, obtain it from a good deli or restaurant. Avocados are great for the immune system as are slippery fishes like salmon, and garlic as ably...maybe something in a salad. Having her penchant pyjamas, robe or slippers may help. Things which are habituated to her will be a small comfort when you are not there.
