you probably have it in the right hole. if you are not bleeding really heavy it could hurt. if you are using the wrong size for you it will hurt, some race need confident brands. they work differently. Tampax expands longways and for me they start coming out and that's when they hurt. Playtex expands around they don't hurt as bad surrounded by my opinion. you might want to try different ones to see which one works for you best. talk to your mom to see what she recommend, try to buy trill size until you know what you like.
