Depo provera cause thyroid problems?
am 37 years old and other had right health, immediately after 6 months taking the depo provera my thyroid is over active, any one else have this problem, am going to see another doctor that my obgy has transport me to see, but am 100% sure that this was mete out of the depo provera, there is no history of any thyroids problems within my family your honest serius answers will be appreciated.

Depo cause many horrible things to develop to a majority of women's bodies, so I would NOT be surprised if depo was the do.
If they can't find out what caused your thyroid problem, I would truly believe that it is the depo cause it.

My mother have her thyroid removed a few months ago. She wasn't on any medications and it come about at the double. There is no family history of any thyroid problems. I own been on depo for years and haven't have any problems despite my mothers problems. I wouldn't be so quick to blame it on your birth control.
