Does it hurt to remove butterfly stitches?

I am 29 years old & have gallbladder removal surgery & a hernia reapir on Friday.. I have 5 different cuts on my stomach & belly button.. On the cuts on my stomach they put butterfly bandage on them, 1 has 1 strip of cartridge, the other one has 2 strips surrounded by an x shape, the belly button has nil on the outside & the other 2 are alos An X shape of tape on them.. My put somebody through the mill is is it going to hurt when these are removed ? I am in a lot of strain now as it is, & I know it wont hurt as desperate as this, but I want to be prepared when they do come off.. Please Help LOL

sounds like they used steri strips to cover your incisions..these are strips that are 1 inch in length and 1 inch in length ( kind of look close to little pieces of scotch tape)
these are actually designed to dry up and crash off themselves, but sometimes the nurse will remove them-they don't hurt-just tug a bit sometimes.
if they are actual stitches-they also are painless-it's like pulling shoelaces out of your shoes-they are cut on one finish and just slide out-you might quality a little bit of pressure but no twinge..
it's normal to own anxiety over anything being done to you-especially if you're contained by the hospital.

I hate to be rude - but it is TAPE - close to a bandaid.I don't think the headache will cause you to verbs or anything.
nope. It's basically tape that will usually dry out and start to come bad on their own sometimes.(especially if you get them wet)
