Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue that as a rule lines the uterus (endometrium) grows in other areas of the body, causing dull pain, irregular bleeding, and possible infertility.

What is endometriosis?

If you own your ovaries taken out, your estrogen level will drop and your symptoms will probably dance away. But you may have symptoms of menopause, and you will not know how to get pregnant.

If you are getting close to menopause, you may want to try to direct your symptoms with medicine rather than surgery. Endometriosis usually stops cause problems when you stop having period.
