Does anyone else use 2 tampons and also wear a wipe?
I am 45 and 1 or 2 days a month I never know if I might have a sudden heavily built flow so I use 2 tampons and a full sized pad usually own bad cramps similar to a teenager again too anybody else hold this problem.

I have a friend who's flow get so horribly heavy that she too have to do the two tampon and a pad routine. She's also in her forties. She said her doctor told her it's sympathetic of the "storm before the calm". In other words, she's within the process of going through change of go, and her hormones are going wacko, so she's bleeding really heavy. Eventually, her period are going to stop, as they're already only a morning or two long (like you said yours are) but in the meantime she newly has to contract with the heavily built flow. She did have several test done though to get that diagnosis. As bulky bleeding could be a sign or symptom of something more serious, I would definately get to a gynecologist and hold some tests done (pap, blood and urine test, etc.). As women we need to hold charge of keeping our bodies healthy to be here as long as possible for our kids/families! So see your doctor please!! Take vigilance!

You are palpably starting peri-menopause. I would be sure you discuss all this beside your doctor so he can monitor you for any problems.I'm 43 and mine get enormously heavy also, but I don't wear 2 tampons at once. I only wear super size and pads for back-up and revision every 1-2 hours.

Sounds like menopause to me. Buy the extra long, extra gelatinous (overnight) pads and use with the sole purpose ONE super plus tampon at a time. Yeah, you may have to revise them more often, but using two tampons at once isn't right for you. You should also go see your gyn. If it's NOT the beginning of menopause, noticeably something is up to make you bleed this heavily. It's not mundane.Help me calculate my length!!?
