Okay have anyone see the comercial for that birth control pill that make u just hold 4 period respectively month...?
AND HAS ANYONE HAD ANY WEIRD SIDE EFFECTS?
Answers: I'm pretty sure you mean once a year. In normal birth control you purloin 3 weeks of hormone pills and 1 week of sugar pills, making that week the time you get your period. The pill that your chitchat about has 3 months or so of hormone pills and later a week of sugar pills, causing only 4 period a year. It works, of corse, but its possible to have breakthrough bleeding, especially when you first start of the pills.
There is actually no apology to have a period at adjectives. Some people just skip the sugar pills and bring a hormone pill every day, causing them to never enjoy a period. There is also a birth control pill that does this called Lybrel. This pill also have the chance of breakthrough bleeding.
I think you aim 4 periods per YEAR. I doubt that any woman would want 4 per MONTH!!
Anyway, it's called Seasonale (or Seasonique). It's an extended cycle pill.
The #1 complaint is what's call breakthrough bleeding, or bleeding that is unanticipated because you're still using active pills. It can stock from spotting to full-on period type bleeding. Sometimes it only last for a few cycles, but for some women it goes on indefinitely.
All other POSSIBLE side effects are those shared by all hormonal contraceptives: Headaches, nausea, substance gain, blood clots, strokes, etc, etc. Read the link below and research possible side effects.
If you're interested in it, contact your doctor and see if you're a interviewee for this particular formulation.
Four periods a year. Four period a month would suck!
It's Seasonique, and yes, I am taking it. I'm on my third pack (so about 8 months in). The first two packs (6 months) be pretty awful because I had break through bleeding -- normal but a hassle. It be like having my extent constantly (although lightly) for months at a time. It's back to normal in a minute, and it's fine. Having a period every three months is much better.
Other cons... I use it as birth control, and because I only own a period every three months, I've started taking pregnancy tests to trade name sure I'm not pregnant and don't know it. Also, it's a lot more expensive that regular pills, even with insurance.
If you really muse about it how good can it be for you. We are supposed to enjoy our periods once a month. Why would you mess with something innate like that.
Is it everyday to hold cramps on the third year of your time of year?
