New depo shot, when am I protected?

I just took the topical depo shot, that is given underneath the skin, yesterday. It's the first time I've be on birth control. It was on the first daylight of my period. I hold noticed one side effect(dry mouth), which started yesterday. So, when should I be almost 100% protected from pregnancy? At the vigour dept, I was told that it should be okay 2-3 weeks from presently.

I cannot lose weight and I regard as it is because I started using the pill, any advice?

I would linger the 3 weeks to be on the safe side since it is your first shot. Make sure you are using condoms in the those 3 weeks. And I am sure they did put in the picture you about side affects, ect.. what to expect the first 3 months at hand could be spotting off and on until it have worked through your system. But it is ALWAYS more reliable to trust what your physician said when it comes to how long and what is going on =0)

Is there a feminine equivalent to Viagra?

The health department told you that it would be efficient in 2-3 weeks.

Why are you asking us instead?

What food can i devour to help my anemia?

My doctor said 2 weeks. But if you would quality better, you can wait for 3 weeks of late to be on the safe side. But 2 weeks is plenty time I assume. Good luck.
