I merely found out I have breast cancer... I requirement some support so please no smart comments...?

I learned on Friday, I own breast cancer in both breasts. Doctor did not discuss lumpectomy, but did reach a deal mastectomy. The lumps in both breasts are in the order of the size of ping pong balls and the right side have a lymph node that has be affected. I want to build it clear that I did not wait to hold this checked into. My old doctor refuse to diagnose it when I went to him. He said it be nothing to verbs about. and would do no carrying out tests. I found this new doctor contained by September and upon doing this physical he found the large lumps. His sensitivity when I saw him for the results of the mammogram were, It is drastically bad, amazingly bad.

I am fearful right now and discern like I am going out of my mind.
I involve hope right now. Has anyone suffered similarly and enjoy had a appropriate outcome.

First and foremost, you are a smart woman to get a second assessment. My Grandmother lost a breast to cancer and went rear legs to work as a nurse and that was since I was born ( she passed away from a return contest with stomach cancer when I be 15.)My Aunt had breast cancer too and she is a two time cancer survivor. I suggest you face-off with every weapon the doctors enjoy including alternative medicines. I also suggest you gain involved with a breast cancer support group.. they enjoy been within and can be the best source of information and opinions. As much as you might want not to ..... slow down during your medicinal time... put yourself first and you will beat this! Good luck! I haven't suffered from breast cancer personally. I'm individual fourteen. My mother didn't have hers diagnosed right away and she died a few months ago. My aunt, instead, was competent to fight hers. I'm guessing you'll be fine. My mom be fifty-five when she found out about her's and she'd have it since she was fifteen (or so they estimated).

my aunt's best friend had breast cancer around 27 years ago......she's 88 now and she still take care of herself, take care of her garden, cleans her own house, and manage 2 keep her courtyard looking nice on her own........except every now and next when me and my friend go over 2 support her.........she did have 2 enjoy a breast removed but she is still alive and healthy......especially 4 somebody her age.........I'm sure you'll be of late fine.........just stay poised your doctor knows what he is doing

My mom is a 24 year breast cancer survivor. She volunteers for the local cancer society surrounded by a program called Reach to Recovery. It is a sort of mentoring program for women (and men) next to breast cancer. Check into it.

Painfull period?

Take a leave. Go to a large city and progress to a university hospital and ask to see an oncologist. You need folks who have experience treating this. You may be too far along for a lumpectomy, but in that is life after mastectomy. Here contained by Portland OR, there are cancer survivor support groups. as here is in copious large cities. Be prepared for surgery as prerequisite, radiation or chemo. I have certain some women who continued to work through it all. It will rob time to recover. Good luck. I know one of my teachers that merely recovered from breast cancer...she's one of the most optimistic associates i know....don't worry....breast cancer is nil to be afraid of...it's not nearly as dangerous as i used to be....silence down...you will be fine...honestly....there are mmmmmannny things they can do to capture rid of it.......things like this also label you appreciate life more. :)

I am vastly sorry to hear of this.Best of luck and you should get surrounded by touch with the Cancer Society and they will hook you up next to someone to talk to and pass you the emotional support you will inevitability during your long and hard raid ahead.As for your past doctors attitude in that is nothing you can do really as it is your responsibility to look out for you. If you don't agree beside your doctors opinion and perceive something is wrong or of concern to you you must seek the answer and get hold of a second opinion,or a third, or a forth.......Do not stop until you find out the info you call for.Contact a lawyer to see if at hand is anything you can do as I'm not a lawyer and things may hold changed since my mothers botched diagnosis. There are many women that enjoy survived this type of cancer and hopefully you will be one. As for the little one who says she is 14 --Do your self breast exams because various teenage girls are anyone diagnosed all the time.
