Help... I obligation to switch from Yaz to a different oral contraceptive?
-worsening acne (chin and jawline)
-dull migraines about 1-2 times per month. Never have migraines before going on the Yaz.
-midcycle bleeding. I usually bleed (dark, glutinous, clot-like) about a week up to that time I'm supposed to and then I may or may not bleed again the following week.
I enjoy no internal problems, verified by ultrasound and pap. I'm not on anitbiotics or anything that would interfere with the pills efficacy.
What should I do very soon? Do I need a complex dose pill? Should I switch to Yasmin?
I dont have access to the best gyn protection where I live so I try and do as much research as I can on my own.
THANKS!!
Answers: I would noticeably switch pills because those are all side affects and you may be the one contained by however many that experience them. I would discontinue use of those pills and see if those symptoms turn away, if they do I would find a new pill.
I switched from yas to trivora. trivora help my periods and cramps, did NOT sort me moody, and it made my boobs a little bigger. I work contained by a pharmacy, and the nuva ring seem to really work all right with those...inserted inside of you, no pills necessary! I only just wanted to permit you know that I have be experiencing the EXACT same symptoms as you. The dull migraines twice a month lasting 2 days respectively was what put me over the top. I just stopped taking YAZ. Another side effect that I didn't realize until I stopped be a non-existent sex drive. It is back to usual (2 weeks off the pill) and I can't believe it took me so long to piece together adjectives of these horrible side effects. Stop taking the pill.
