I would like to know if the efficiency of taking Microgynon as an emergency contraceptive is interefered with contained by anyway if Flu medcation-such as antibiotics, medication for the sinuses etc. is taken at the same time? Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Answers:    It is not important as 'emergency' contraceptive at all!

It have to be taken as per instructions to be effective, and medication such as antibiotics will reduce it's value. Talk to your Dr about the mornign after pill if you have unprotected sex.

You will have to be on moving tablets without antibiotics for 2 weeks beforehand you will be protected from pregnancy again.

I am not aware of any studies to support it can be used as emergency contraceptive. in certainty. Nausea and vomiting may occur if life-size numbers of tablets are swallowed. Menstrual like bleeding may go on in females. No other problems are to be expected and no treatment is prerequisite.
