PLEASE help--I requirement some answers from gals who enjoy gone thru this. Advice please??

I've had "feminine" itching off and on for roughly speaking a month now and I thought it was a short time ago from the heat and going to the beach and wearing raining swimsuits, etc. but it keeps coming back so I looked up yeast infection symptoms and adjectives my symptoms seemed to match, even the discharge, although mine is solely slight. The problem now is I bought a 3-day treatment kit and I've taken it for 2 night in a row--but the cream that is used for the treatment make me itch and burn so badly I can't even sleep. I mentioned this problem (quietly!) to a close female friend of mine and she said, "in good health it could be that you don't have a yeast infection." I asked the pharmacist about this treatment selection and she said I'd feel relief inwardly a day or so, which I have a touch, but it still itches and burns when I urinate. I'm unsure of what to do now--my doctor's office is of course closed, and this is not an emergency--but I really DREAD have to take this last treatment b/c of the large level of discomfort. If I skip it, and it was a yeast infection, will I enjoy to start treatment all over again? What should I do? Please help. Calling my dr tomorrow but newly wanted some female opinion on this. I need relief!! Thanks.

Answers:    Oh tot girl! Wet swimsuits for long hours are a no-no! They can often be the cause of yeast infections. According to my doctor, Vicki: "If you ever use Monistat, walk for the 7-day treatment and avoid Vagisil! "

All yeast infection creams may increase itching and I've been through that. So when it got to the point where on earth it was keeping me up at night, I used some cortizone cream down in that and it helped relieve the itch. I've also found that the Monistat cream for the outer part of the vagina burns me and make everything worse.

So I guess my point is: try some Cort-10 for now. You may have to re-start treatment if you skip the dose, but your doctor will know how to help you more later since s/he know your body chemistry better than I do :).
I would find one of those walk in medical places contained by lieu of your doctor- it sort of is urgent due to the amount of time you've had symptoms, because who wants to put up next to it that long? you really should have gotten a doctor to tell you it's a yeast infection up to that time you started that OTC stuff from the pharmacy. it sounds like you may have a touch of cystitis along next to the yeast infection, some of the treatments can irritate your skin if you have sensitive skin. but usually work you could try some natural yogurt as this cools the nouns and clears up any infection.

but seeing your gp is the best thing i would not worry over much though as they will enjoy treated so many woman for this type of thing and i muse it will def be from wearing the wet swim suit as they irritate the skin in a such a fastidious area
