Im going to military camp but im on my period, but ive never worn a tampon past. how can i not be embarrased?

For the procedure, you are anesthitized via an I.V. most usually. How long you stay depends on the doctor and hospital, in some places you can own the procedure done in the morning and be home in time for dinner as long as you don't enjoy problems afterwards. In some places, you stay overnight and leave subsequent morning. The procedure is not painful at adjectives, you may be a bit stiff in the thighs afterwards, but usually not. You will not be capable of use tampons afterwards, so plan on having pad at home. You may bleed like a run of the mill period for a hours of daylight or so, or simply spot- it depends on how much of the uterine lining is scrap away. I have know ladies to hold the procedure done one day and return to work the subsequent, but I would recommend spending the next afternoon at home resting. You tend to feel a bit out of it and groggy from the anesthesia and it throws off the sleep cycle sometimes. And if they used gas to expand the uterus, you will get the impression sort of gassy and bloated until it passes. Otherwise, you should be posterior on your feet the subsequent day, only a bit slower than usual. After you wake from the procedure, the nurses will want you to shift to the bathroom, have a sip to drink and at a snail`s pace get support on your feet. They will not dismiss you until you enjoy proven you can hold fluids down and go to the bathroom, and are steady on your foot. In most cases it goes pretty hastily and there are no problems. Hopefully things will budge smoothly for you, and the procedure will take exactness of the problem for you. Good luck!

I stopped taking birth control and?

I am not speaking from personal experience - just what I know friends hold gone through.
You can be put to sleep, but you don't have to be.
It's an outpatient procedure, you'll be within and out within a time, unless there are some open-handed of complications.
It will probably be painful after - my friends own had cramps for a couple of days. You'll also enjoy bleeding. It's up to you whether or not you can work the next daytime, but you'll probably need a couple of days bad.

I finally took charge of my life and started birth control. How do I inform my parents?

yes they giv u a general, u merely will hav to be there a few hours, can b aching afterwards, well adequate for next light of day - depends how u react to the drugs.. when u donate the hospital/clinic u may get dizzy and grain like u will giddy, etc

Morning after pill, how long have i get to take it? i be a sign of after how many days will it not hold any effect?

I had a D&C within 1982. I will answer your questions as to what I experienced.

Yes, they put you to sleep. I have an IV of Sodium Penathol.

Usually you go home like peas in a pod day.

You don't get the impression any pain during the operation because you are asleep.

It's a bit bleeding afterwards (cramping) and they give you cramp medication. You will also bleed afterwards (I bled for a week - heavier than a period).

You will NOT be able to work the subsequent day. It took me something like a week to recover - chiefly from the anesthesia, but also from the bleeding. They use different anesthesia now, so your experience may be better.

Good luck beside your surgery. :)

Is it bad that * is longer than my arm?

I newly had a D&C for an incomplete miscarriage not too long ago. The worst segment of it was the anguish (emotional) from the lost pregnancy. Physically, it was cake. What I experienced be this: (Granted, this was an (emergency" procedure, not a routine one). They put me to sleep, adjectives the way. I remember getting something injected through my IV, later they put this mask item over my face, and that's adjectives I remember. I woke up about two hours after the procedure be over, in the reclamation room. I felt no affliction or anything. The D&C was perform around midnight, so I spent the night in the hospital. I own a very delicate, sensitive stomach, so I did have some nausea from the anesthia the subsequent day, but they kept me pumped near phenergen. I was posterior to my old self physically inwardly 24 hours after having it.
*If I be you, I would ask your doctor beforehand to prescribe you some phenergen or something for nausea, as well as Vicodin or something for backache, just surrounded by case. Better nontoxic than sorry.

My period single lasted two days?

Anesthesia can be common (more risk) or local (awake for the procedure). Usually they send you right out afterward. It is itchy. You probably shouldn't go to work the subsequent day. Source site give more information. Good luck.

Girls please answerhow do you get rid of that smell after your term?

I had one on 04/23/07...not discouraging at all!
they put you to sleep near a general anesthesia, do their item, you wake up, cramp some, I bled minimally, done as outpatient procedure, hae soemone drive you home, rest for more or less 3 days, no lifitng for 1-2 weeks, no sex for 2-4 weeks
