First off I am 34 and started my time of year at age 9. I have other had lashing painful period, and was put on the pill at 14, in the past I was even influential to control bleeding. I got bad the pill in my rash 20's to have kids. I hold had two wonderful girls, but since my second (she is now 6) my period have be horrid. I had a D&C 3 yrs ago because I bled for 4 months straight and it help, but they are stil lheavy and are now cyling support to being longer and longer. I do not want to filch hormones to control them because my mom died at the age of 46 from agressive breast cancer. My husband is fixed and we do not want more kids, the doctor said I should get a hysterectomy and will my ovaries, and am thinking I want to.
My questions, did you touch better? Did it help near your problems? Or cause more? Also how much down time will I stipulation after, I have a 6 and 8 yr antiquated that I stay home with, I thought 1 week would be plenty.

How much is too much?

I had a complete hysterectomy 15 years ago and hold NEVER regretted it.

Is it true?

Well, the post-op recovery is protracted (something resembling 8-12 weeks before you can even move up anything more than 5 lbs).

Secondly, there is a strong possibility of within being second complications and problems with your other internal organs slipping into the invalid that used to house your uterus, causing urinary and bowel incompetence among other things (including chronic abdominal pain).

If you are suffering from dysfunctional uterine bleeding, consider conversation to your doctor about a procedure call ablation before you walk the severely drastic route of hysterectomy. (http://www.althysterectomy.org/dub.htm). I'm amazed he didn't consider it himself!

At any rate, my friend had this done and she have never been happier. (her down-time be about 36 hours...and that be with 4 kids, single-motherhood, and full-time commission!)

Think about it and contribute it some serious consideration...

EDIT: Having the ablation (depending on method) not work the first time is a real possibility. However, it is still far more cost significant and far less invasive than a hysterectomy. Given the choice, I instinctively would rather enjoy ablation than surgery.but hey -- it's your body.

I'm a Virgin Peoplewell, physically. Does it hurt the first time? How long does it last? I'm 21.?

Hope you perceive better soon.
