Surgery procedure to prevent you from getting pregnant?
Answers:
A hysterectomy? That is the simply thing I conjecture I can think of.
It is called tubal ligation aka getting your tubes tied and no it does not stamp out your periods.
Getting your tubes tied will stop you from getting pregnant.
Could this girl I know enjoy anorexia?
tubes tied/burntyou still have period and it is reversable but it's still surgery which makes it kinda fearsome.it's not suggested until you have a child or two.
at hand's the thing they put within your arm and a flexy thing they put within the uterus.those are both done at the doctors office as far as I know...
I'm on the pill. own been for years and no babies on the other hand!
Tubal Ligation is surgery perform to as permanent birth control. It does not stop your period. You will have mundane monthly cycles.
Tubal ligation cuts or cauterizes the fallopian tube. This prevents eggs from going down the fallopian tube to the uterus, and prevents sperm from going up the fallopian tube, so sperm and egg can never meet.
What is this at the entrance to my vagina?
I have clamps put on my tubes after my son was born to prevent pregnancy 13 years ago, and no tubal pregnancies or babies or strength problems resulted. But it did not eliminate the menstrual cycle. I devise the procedure you are speaking of is a hysterectomy. Is it wrong to be disgusted in myself?
There are several options. The most extreme is hysterectomy...this is complete removal of the uterus. This method is usually used for cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, or hemorrhaging.
There is also ablation (sp?)...the facing of the uterus (endometrium) is super-heated or cauterized, so that your periods are VERY insubstantial (but rarely eliminate them completely); it also causes infertility because the uterine inside layer is no longer hospitable to a fertilized egg. This method is used for women who have unruly menstrual bleeding.
The only other surgical method of birth control is tubal ligation ("tying the tubes"). This method blocks the fallopian tubes so that sperm and egg cannot come across, thereby preventing conception. There is also a non-surgical method called Essure (wires are inserted into the fallopian tubes via the uterine/cervical alley, and scar tissue develops to block the tubes). This method however does NOT stop period.
