Get a grill pillow, or hot water bottle. You can go and get ones which u put in the microwave for a few minutes.it does work. If not progress for a walk cos exercise sometimes help.

I take something call feminax which is a combination of slightly stronger pain killer than paracetemol and a small amount of a muscle relaxant. If you are at home you could try lying a warm hot wet bottle across your tummy to relax the muscles or if you are out and about you can carry special heat pad from chemists. It is also a good conception to have something to drink as well to supply the tummy muscles somthing else to do rather than cramping. If you get the impression the pain is getting to much it may be worth a trip to the doc to any get some muscle relaxants, stronger painkillers, or to possibly be in motion on the pill.

Don't knock it in a minute :)) Some people will vote this is 'crazy' but just try it.First, do not drink/eat cold things during your term. Cold intensifies the cramps. When I say cold I indicate refrigerated drinks or freezer items.
Second, try to save your lower abdomen heat. It doesn't have to be hot but try to hang on to it from getting cold (leaning against cold, granite counter top even! can make it simply cold enough to intensify cramps).
Paracetamol is fine to help yourself to just lone take the recommended dosage. Aleve (naproxen) is stronger and may work more effectively for you within a smaller dose than paracetamol.

Hi Jane,My wife also suffers this terrible affliction and as a result I enjoy checked out ALL remedies and she finds that a warm press (such as a towel) or "medicinal hands" helps best. Get your partner to rub his hand quite hot and hold you from aft "spoon" position with hand placed low down in a lifting movement, the pressure will be relieved and its a great road to be close at that time. Well what I do is I go to Wal-Mart and buy bananna's and M&M's and next go home and rest. It will support and clean a short time dont move too much and strecth your belly but stay relaxed eat a bananna everyday and a handful of M&M's it WORKS!

Try to stay away from Primrose related products cos I've heard dat they can create cancer.When your period is nearing,drink lotsa thaw out water and do lotsa desk light exercises.Like bending down to touch your feet.Avoid cold showers.
Paracetamol if taken as per instruction is not harmful.If you must,take Panadol Extra or Panadol Mentrual (its box is purple surrounded by color).
