It is middle-of-the-road to have a discharge during or after sex. You will find that around the time you ovulate it will bring back thinner and become thicker around the time your period is due. It sounds average to me, however the way you described it as "clumps" make me wonder if you have a yeast infection. I don't guess the normal discharge should come out surrounded by "clump's."
