Is it possible to buy straight up parenthood insurance?

Me and hubby (no married but have been together for over 7 years so I consider him so), anyway we own insurance through our parents (hes 22 and in almost 21) which is good for respectively of us as long as we are in school and until we are 24. Hence us not human being married. We are TTC and I dont really wanna use medicaid but at this point cant pay out of pocket for Dr.'s apts. I am wondering if there is any insurance company surrounded by NJ that offers the option of freshly purchasing maternity care WHILE you are pregnant, not up to that time you are pregnant. I dont want to pay for something I am not yet using, an also am hopping to be preggo formerly 10 months from now. Is medicais my only odds. My moms insurance (which I am now covered under) dosnt have teh leeway to even add maternity strictness for her dependants. So just adding it to the plan I am on isnt even an likelihood. Any suggestions?

Counseling support?

The whole situation sounds a bit confusing. If you are still able to be on your moms insurance because you are a student, and you can't afford any out of pocket visits, or insurance on you own.Maybe you should finish your schooling first, get married, obtain insurance (with you and your husband)..then have a babe-in-arms. If you aren't able to fully support yourself, then I don't know why you would bring a infant into the world that you would be unable to support. I personally regard as you have some kinks that entail to be ironed out before you think roughly becoming a mother.
BUT, if that is the route you decide to help yourself to. I think medicaid would be your best option. I don't believe you can purchase parenthood insurance just by itself, and if you could you would be most likely subject to pre-exsisting conditions if you purchase the insurance after you hold already conceived.
Best of Luck either way.

EDIT:
Is it possible to purchase insurance through your father-in-laws business? Also, how are you expecting to hold this baby covered by insurance if both you and your fiance are still dependents on you parents plans?

Lactating while on your menstrual cycle?

Are you serious?

You're trying to conceive when you're in college, don't have your own insurance, aren't married, and considering medicaid (essentially welfare)? Is this the situation you want to bring a child into?

WOW

I think anytime YOU are chitchat about your being on YOUR mom's insurance it resources YOU are not a fully functioning adult in practice... it mechanism you are still a child in your parent's care to some extent and there's nought wrong with that. However, there is something really disturbing to me nearly a child, under her parents care, decide to bring another child into the world.

Judging from what you've written you should like you are very much a child. BUT, this is your edict. You come on womenanswers.org for people's opinions, do you not?
