I have used both and prefer a masculine doctor because they seem to be more placid. When I had a feminine doctor she was more of a wham bam thank you mam type of doctor and didnt really filch her time explaining what the test be for or why she was doing them . I also assume that since males do not have a vagina they are not sure what does or does not hurt so they are more careful about how they touch you.

Absolutely prefer female, contained by fact, I've never gone to a masculine period. It's not that I don't regard men are good at the profession b/c I know they can be in recent times as good at checking a vagina as any women. I freshly feel more comfortable w/ someone who owns equal parts as me...touching and inspecting them. For some reason within my experience female ones aren't nearly as placid, the two I saw (well one was a gyno the other be a regular doctor) did the most painful swabs EVER, I don't even know how you could build that painful but they did... With masculine regular doctors that never happened, and the mannish gyno I saw definitely made everything the most comfortable. This is probably basically coincidence though, I really doubt all female doctors do uncomfortable exams...

It does seem resembling maybe since men don't own vaginas it makes them more concerned that they might somehow hurt the patient, and make them more careful. The womanly doctors I saw certainly didn't come across to be concered about hurting me AT ALL...

I've seen both a masculine and female gyno. When I first started going, I did prefer womanly, but now it doesn't bother me. In reality, sometimes I think a manly gyno is faster and more gentle than a womanly. When I see a male gyno, I just feel any discomfort.
