Anyone own hyperthyroidism / Graves' disease - Help?

I was diagnosed when i be 19, it magically went away near after. I was pregnant at 22, and obviously blood tested and my levels be high again. I be put on meds to stop thyroid production while pregnant.. an was suppose to see a doctor after. Well its be over a year and I havent gone. I'm waiting to get insurance.

I discern miserable all the time. I'm other tired, always well irritable..uncomfortable.. Now I'm over counterbalance because I didnt loose my pregnancy pounds. I just get the impression hopeless...

What treatment has worked for you?

I get double injected w/ the depo shot, is this bad?, Can that hurt my repro system? are these effects common?


I don't have Grave's Disease but I've well-educated a lot more or less it... it sounds like it have recurred by listen to your symptoms.

It's important for you to catch treatment and take the medicine to replace your depleted hormone levels... this is the singular treatment that is potent. I understand have insurance limits your capacity to go to the doctor (I don't hold any either), but your condition needs to be treated until that time irreversible damage happen.

Depending on your income you may qualify for Medicaid... call your local community services bureau to check. Also, since you have a diagnosed condition that requires treatment, they may receive exceptions even if your income is over the limit, so be sure to explain your situation. If that doesn't work, they can refer you to agencies that can facilitate you pay for your doctors visit.
