Effects of Birth Control?

I have be on birth control for about 5 years immediately. (Ortho-tri-cyclen) Originally it was to serve my acne and my extremely heavy length; I've stayed on it for all the other benefits as capably. Both my grandmother and mother have have breast cancer. I am aware that it increases the risk of getting cancer. I don't have insurance, and I carry my birth control from Planned Parenthood, otherwise I would ask my doctor. The nurses never can answer my questions near an answer that makes sense.

My friend and boyfriend dream up I should get stale of it after being on the pill for so long, axiom that it increases the risk of breast cancer far too much to be staying on it. Especially since it's already been 5 years. My put somebody through the mill is, should I stay on it? Or would it be better for me to go ahead and try another form of birth control such as inbred planning?
Also: I do have a scarcity of sex drive, and I get really doomed to failure digestion problems around that time of the month. Not sure if it has to do beside pill.

I think, 5 years on Ortho-tri-cyclen is opening too long. Every 2 years, you should make 6 -12 months break. I will suggest you to stop taking them.

Can a nurse do this?

I am on Yaz and I believe in my insert it say in decrease the risks of cancer...maybe some pills are different. Anyways, beside all the things out here than can cause cancer, I would voice if it is working for you, then stay on it. Maybe switch to a different pill, because after 2 yrs of my Ortho-Tri Cyclen Lo it started to not work as powerfully.

My mother has purely been diagnosed next to metastatic cancer to the bones, primarily her right hip, after breast and lung cancer. There's nothing she "did" to incentive her cancer, and it doesn't really run in the family unit so we don't know why she got it. Her sister also died from skin cancer so we reflect on maybe this is where on earth the cancer history is starting. Anways, cancer starts in whoever and wherever it desires. Sure smoking can increase the odds, but I enjoy had 3 ppl within my family who just now passed away who smoked 40+ years and did not die of cancer.

Same goes for the b/c, it probably CAN do cancer eventually, but if we worry something like that so much now we will never live cheerfully. If you're really worried about it, research online the statistics and stuff and gossip to your family, which it looks close to you've been doing. I individually will never go rotten of b/c because of the possiblily it will cause cancer, but it is your decision.
