THE MORNING AFTER PILL IS NOT AN ABORTION PILL.

The abortion pill is officially call RU-486. It's actually several pills that induce the expulsion of the fertilized egg (in most cases. It's vastly rarely used after 9 weeks). It's a combination of mifepristone and a prostyglandin.

Plan B, the morning after pill, is a super dose of hormones. It's a super charged birth control pill. Like the BC pill, it's purpose is to PREVENT the egg from person fertilized in the first place.

For those of you ranting something like abortion...get your facts straight. Look at actual medical studies and explanations, not something some bigot posted on a Pro-Life website.

Not that I hold ever heard of. The "baby" does not die. It does not effect you at adjectives if you are pregnant. The morning after pill is NOT the abortion pill. The morning after pill makes it harder for the sperm to attatch itself to the egg and prevents a pregnancy to switch on with. (it's alot more detailed than that but I do not know the specifics.)
