How long did or does it take for episotomy stitches to heal after childbirth?
i've had mine since my son be born and its been 4 wks presently, does it take longer . they told me that they are the stitches that dissolve surrounded by your skin, some of it went away but not adjectives of it...how long should it take?

o.k. so I did not hold an episiotomy, I tore. It was a 3rd level tear, and I have to be stitched.
I was soooooooo tender down here for over 2 months! Maybe up to 4! Wearing jeans or jean shorts was the WORST! OUCH if I sit down and the thick seam of the jeans hit that nouns! I about hit the roof every time.
So, I guess what I am axiom is, I am sure it is normal, but it is not fun. So, time is a healer. So, simply wait it out.
In the meantime, wear soft cotton shorts, and think twice not to sit on anything too hard.

anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks they will dissolve. be tolerant i know they are a incovience but think of the blessing you enjoy for it.Is there such a item as a "G SPOT"?
It took me a good 6 weeks to discern better. Healing from an episiotomy or tear is long and sensitive, give yourself some more time and don't try to do too much.Please i want help don't run this as a joke!?
Every woman is different. If they haven't dissolved contained by another month, then probably you should see your Dr. I think it will eventually move about away when you finally sit down in the tub. That helps to dissolve them.Actually two to three weeks is enuf.But for some skin's it will take long time.
I know one party who had same this prob,most of the stitches are gone presently,but still some are in night color.
Now she is using body creams,lotion which is really working to make it invisible.

it took a couple months for any thoughtful of normalcy to come back down in attendance after having my first child. time will make well it, just be tolerant and enjoy your little boy :-)
