What doctor should i ask about depression my gynocologist or primary care giver?

Either one. Gynecologists are familiar near postpartum depression, plus they often stroke as primary care physicians for women.

If neither of those can give a hand, talk to a psychologist/counselor or psychiatrist. (A psychiatrist is an MD who can prescribe meds; a psychologist or other counselor can provide bargain therapy. At least possible in the US.)

depression is usually a symptom of something wrong in the body, ie, chronic illness, infection..depression usually doesn't happen on it's own.

I'd definately right to be heard your primary care supporter. it's not really a gynecologist's place to diagnose your depression or recommend you anything. Your primary care contributor would most likely be capable of do more for you. But then again, I deduce it'd be best to speak with whomever you're more comfortable beside.

If you are more comfortable beside addressing the issue beside your gynecologist then I would recommend them, and if you really discern comfortable with them ask for a suggestion about who they ruminate could be helpful to you when it comes to a psychiatrist if you necessitate further treatment.
