Yes, it may hurt. I don't know the reason for them needing to do for you; they usually do that if you enjoy had a miscarriage. They may put you to sleep or not. If you hold asked that question of your doctor and haven't gotten an answer.do you really want this personality doing it? Go get a second assessment.

A D&C is usually doen if you havent have a period ina while adn arent preggo to verbs out te tissue that should have be shed by your period. It can also be used after a miscarriage to be sure everything from the pregnancy is out of the uterus. A D&C isnt used to draw from you pregnant. They dont put you to sleep it is usually done under a local anesthetic.Should a single woman be obligated to relate her boyfreind if she wants to abandon a pregnancy?
D&C can be done for a couple of reasons: 1. to clear out the contents of a pregnancy that have been miscarried that didn't come out on its own, or 2. for diagnostic purposes.It is done contained by the OR with the woman under nonspecific anesthesia because if it was done next to the person awake it would indeed inflict a lot of affliction.
There can be some cramping after the procedure because of the fact that they go in to your uterus.
I have a D&C done in 1999 for diagnostic purposes along near a hysteroscopy. A hysteroscopy is where they distribute a special camera up your vagina in to your uterus to check its conditon such as with the pool liner to make sure in that are no abnormalities within there.
