Can I start new pack of pills early to prevent period?
My period be supposed to come yesterday but it is a day late, which is probably due to stress and working out. I exit for NY on Thursday and do not want to have my time the whole time I am on break. I saw my doctor a couple weeks ago and she gave me a tentative prescription of Yasmin to start. Instead of waiting for my period which should be any daylight now, couldnt I freshly start the new pill pack very soon and prevent my period from coming until the placebo pills subsequent month?

If you are certain you are not pregnant, you can start the different pack now, but it may not prevent your spell from starting. It may shorten the length of your time of year though.
The drop off contained by progesterone is what signals your period to start. If you finished your elderly pack several days ago, your period may start any time regardless of when you start your up to date pack.

Well if it works resourcefully go for it but what if it doesn't work, next you have shrunken some pills. Why not just dance thru the cycle and not worry going on for it.yes this worked for me...But if you enjoy already should have started, sometimes I would still start mine anyway. Id hold to take it right on the dot and no waiting in between like you did ( 1 day)
so budge ahead. BTW- they have a alien pill out which you take a constant pill an donly own like 4 period per year! Cant remember the name though.
also a pill that shortens your time of year to 2-3 days!
