Will I gain weight or lose weight after having my hysterectomy?

I'm having a hysterectomy done and I'm 41, I've notice that I've gained a few pounds due to my endometriosis. Will I lose some bulk after my surgery?

Everyone's circumstances are different. I lost lots of weight earlier and after my surgury, but I was also sick as crap past and after my surgury due to the difficult pregnancy/miscarriage-thing. Also, I had basically turned 30, so age might be a factor (or not). And keep surrounded by mind, a hysterectomy, even a partial, is major surgury. Even if they use the laproscopic (sp?) method, you are not going to touch like intake very much for a while and your hormones are going to be adjectives wacky, so you WILL lose some weight.

My mom have her hysterectomy when she was 35 years of age. Unfortunately, she go from 130 pounds to 85 pounds. It was a not easy struggle, and it took months to regain her weight & strength wager on. Thankfully, she's fine today!

I guess everyone is different, but in my mother's case, she lost a ton of unnecessary immensity.

I don't know if you will lose weight. You hold to exercise and watch what you chomp through. You can't jump into exercise after your surgery but sermon to your doctor.

It all depends on the individual. My mom gained seriously of weight. But that may hold just be her.
