You requirement to get to your dr to try to find the effect of these really bad cramps, but contained by the mean time you can try a heat pad or a hot wet bottle to see if that helps.
Something else you could try is to increase your iron level by eating things such as spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course) to backing try and reduce some of the flow amount which may sustain ease your cramps some til you capture to a dr to have this looked at.

I had really impossible cramps when i was growing up and my mum used to build me a hot toddy. This was whisky, hot dampen and sugar. About a quarter cup of whisky and 2 teaspoons sugar topped up with boiling wet.
