I'm off of DEPO birth control, what is going on?

I took my first and only shot of depo mid October of 2006. So, five - six months ago. I be due back for my subsequent shot on January 3 but didn't go. I want to become pregnant but read up on depo and found out it could lift a while.

I spotted after I didn't go fund for my second shot and my breasts became tender. About a month and a partly later, I have what seemed resembling a period. It be a very unhealthy flow for 3 days which required me to use quite a few tampons, so it is not on that was merely spotting... is it?

My question is, does it nouns like I have my first period since starting depo and coming stale? And, if I did have my time of year does that mean I am ovulating and can become pregnant? Is it worth it to buy one of those home ovulating kit? Thanks

Sounds like you are. If your cycle isn't spinal column to normal, I guess the solely way to find out would be to obtain an ovulation kit.

Sounds approaching a period to me. My final shot was supposed to be due Nov. 8 but i fixed to stop, so from there it took until mid February for me to start ovulating again.
