What does non-invasion breast cancer mean?
Have had a biospy. shows cancer contained by breast. No cancer last year.
Doctor removed it but I in a minute have to go through rediation treatments. Why this and no chemo. Is the Doctor only prolonging my cancer and have it been specified to all of a sudden become invasion cancer. Thanks Grandmahoney

Hi I am an Oncologist
Non invasive Breast cancer is not a cancer in actuality.
It is carcinoma in situ, a very impulsive stage of cancer
-Stage 0 (thats early!)
Ya u requirement to remove the lump with outside edge and also recive Radiation atherapy to prevent recurrence.
Chemotherapy treats /kills cell that have invaded adjectives over the body, bcos this disease is not invasive hence chemotherapy is not useful
You do not need any chemotherapy for this
Non-invasive breast cancer system that the cancer in the breast have not spread out of its original site. It is straightforward to remove and radiation will be focused on that area to slay any cancer cells not here over!
Birth Control Pill? Ortho Tri-Cyclin/Seasonale. Anybody on it?
i would go to www.webmd.com they would enjoy a really good answer for that, but if you are enquiring your doctor that much maybee you should get a 2nd oppinionI hold non invasive breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy, and I'm going through radiation of the unharmed right breast. My last eight days of radiation they are going to only concentrate on the area where on earth they cancer was. All non invasive scheme is it has not spread. It is the best type of cancer anyone requirements to have.
