Answers:    I've had this surgery on both feet. It be painless and the problem won't come back. However, my surgeon told me one of three things would happen after - the toe would look fine, the toe would shrink, or the toe would obtain larger. Both of mine got larger but not so you would notice it. I would do it again lacking any hesitation..
If you are really scared, sort sure you are talking with your doctor just about all of your concerns. He will explain everything to you in full detail. That should level-headed your nerves a little bit.

Also something I usually do is ask the doctor to prescribe me something to take the hours of darkness before and the morning of the surgery so that I can get a biddable night's sleep and not be nervous. It's usually very strong meds and I own to have someone carry me contained by lol. But it works! :D.
My friend has just have this operation ,it is an uncomfortable one to cope with afterwards, you will obligation lots of salt baths for your feet to aid the restorative process, but once it is done you should be ok . My father had a operation of both his feet, he be fine :) There nothing to worry in the order of but if you want all detail best you ask your doctor.

Wish you luck :)
