Try metamucil. Now, I know that it is advertised as a laxative, but thats their unpromising for failing to find the largest real open market. Metamucil is fiber. Fiber is a regulator. If you have the runs, it will slow things down, so to speak, and if you are constipated it will loosen things up. It may bring a few days to regulate you, but it will do the trick. If you don't get ample fiber in your diet, you can pilfer metamucil daily minus any harmful side effects.

Actually, anything beginning beside "Kao..." should be ok, e.g. Kaolin (or Kaolyn), Kaomycin, Kaopectate (as already advised).

What also works is Live yogurt ( it has to be live ) and fresh bread
Make something like 8 tiny balls of bread and dip contained by the yogurt and swallow whole
