I started when I was 9 presently I am 12 and I have creamy bleeding and I went to the doctor something like it and they said that if I don't regular out than they are going to put me on Birth Control.Please help.

There is really no "normal". every woman is different. but if it bothers you a lot, walk ahead and take the birth control. That worked for me.

i was blessed beside a very typical light cycle but my sister ever since it come was horrendous. try to avoid the pill i do not beleive in it i focus the side effects are horrible but its really up to you and your dr. good luck~

heavy periods are nought to fool around with. i started when i be 8 and by the time i was 11 i be becoming anemic during the time i had my term because i was bleeding so heavily, and couldn't function because my cramps be so terrible. i started the pill at 12 and it help me immensely, and i would do it again if i had to. it basically made my life so much easier, not have to plan my day around where on earth the bathroom was so i could budge change my wipe every half-hour (literally), not being contained by constant pain, not passion sick the whole time, etc..you should at tiniest try the pill- you can always budge off it if you don't close to it. good luck hon-

some women never get "common cycles",some in their 20's, some are regular as soon as it starts.. individual on birth control to even you out isnt a bad point, the cramps will be easier, periods lighter, pms will composed down, and if your on Ortho Tri Cyclen and a couple others your skin will improve, (sometimes it take a couple months cause your hormones are anyone leveled out) but youll be ok

Sorry hon, some of us are not as lucky as others. I'm 28 and still not regular. The birth control pill is a god send! You know the exact DAY you will capture it, and it is very LIGHT and go away really fast. Don't be afraid.

This is not that atypical. However, the same article happened when I be your age. I began at nine and by 12 it be unbearable. I be put on birth control as well. It did not really facilitate. Then my daughters repeated my history. It turns out that they and myself have a condition call von Willenbrands. Not life threatening but we bleed longer and heavier consequently the average person - even from a cut. Have your mom read this answer. She may want to ask your doctor to oral exam for this.
