Can you own thyroid treatment when your pregnant!?!?
Answers:
Question? Please, Please,Please answer?
If you mean levothyroxin for hypothyroidism, yes it is sheltered, in reality it is essential. Carbimazole, for overactive thryroid, crosses the placenta but, provided the mother's dose is within the standard collection, and her thyroid status is monitored, there is no evidence of neonatal thyroid abnormality. Studies have shown that the incidence of congenital malformations is greater in the children of mothers whose hyperthyroidism have remained untreated than in those to whom treatment with carbimazole have been given.
Overall it is safer to treat thyroid disease contained by pregnancy, for both mother and foetus, than to leave it untreated.
Hi nearby, my friend suffers from an underactive thyroid and was diagnosed at an rash age. About 10 months ago she had a lovely little girl! So yes you can hold treatment through pregnancy. I think she have to have more regular scan and checkups though.
Let me rephase(my question be called if you be.?)?
Yes, you can.Yes you can. My sister just have a bouncing baby boy, and remained on her thyroid medication thoughout. Her pregnancy be MUCH more closely followed though - visits to the hospital at least possible once a week throughout. They really like to keep hold of an eye on you if there's a thyroid problem.

If taking synthroid or a generic, you may need your dose changed.
Eptopic pregnancy and the grieving process?
If you are hypothyroid - you must lift your medicine even when pregnant . You supply your babe-in-arms and yourself with the thyroid hormone while you are pregnant - this is essential for strong and healthy nouns of your baby.. It is exceptionally essential for your health - minus your health you will not hold a healthy pregancy. I suggest you to monitor your TSH and T4, T3, FreeT4, FreeT3 and antibody level while pregancy (too) and adjust your thyroid hormone dosage if neccessary.Good luck!
