PCOS ask?

I just get diagnosed with PCOS and my obgyn said that my testosterone level were illustrious. What are the side affects of this, other then the acne and spine issues? Like would it have anything to do next to mental things, like an increased sex drive?

Weight Gain beside Mirena IUD?

Someone with PCOS is more feasible to gain weight surrounded by "male" areas such as the belly and the arms, for instance.

More testosterone = increased sex drive.

You already mentionned acne and hair.

As for other mental things, I'm not too sure. I've hear depression and anxiety can occur. Things close to headaches.

Hmm, I be diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago, and I one and only fit some of the side effects, the hair issue is gross and I do suffer from fully fledged acne, not bad but I do fighting with it. I enjoy also heard of counterbalance gain being a side effect but I haven't have this one either. I do infer my sex drive is higher next most women, but I am not sure if it is linked to the PCOS, I newly thought it was my husband! It does label sense though if our testosterone levels be high. I am not sure going on for mental things. I consider myself quite commonplace mentally.

Good luck with things.

SHAVING QUESTiON? kinda grossGIRLS ONLY!!?

The increase in testosterone only affect some women and it differs from woman to woman. I own PCOS too but I don't think the masculine hormone bit affects me that much.

However, for some people, the inconsistency of hormone makes them prone to mood swing. But bar that, there's not much of an effect. ie. you won't be resembling a jerk or acting similar to a guy etc.
