Hysterectomy? (sorry if spelled wrong)?

My mother had a hysterectomy nearly 5 weeks ago. I understand what it is and what happen. I know she shouldn't be better yet but she's not rising AT ALL! t first when she was still within hospital it took her too long to wake up after the operation, consequently her bowls wouldn't go at adjectives, then she get an infection which made everything worse. She went for a check up in the region of the infection last week and she be sent to hospital. They wanted her to stay the darkness but she refused. She's not designed to be doing much but she won't listen to anyone, she keeps cleaning...my dad isn't competent to handle everything on his own...i can see she is still in sever backache when she so much as walks o get out of bed. Is this normal? Is she goin to be ok?

yes, it takes awhile to wake up up after surgery . the bowels don't function well for a few days because of adjectives the pain killer she's getting, it relaxes all those muscles / organs and she wants to have the meds to control the strain so she has to concord with this side effect. if near is an infection it might be in the incision. if so it will take a few more weeks to treat / close that up. imagine you hold a stab would several inches through your tummy. not gonna feel virtuous overnight. takes time but she should see doctor and receive lots of rest. it would be great if her famiy could help her do some of the cleaning that she is stressing over so she won't hold to do. she really needs rest / to permit that infection heal so she'll be hindmost to normal faster.
