I am going on a trip next week next to my best friend and our boyfriends. We are going up to the lake and we are going to be boating and swimming. The problem is, i am going to enjoy my period subsequent week. I can use tampons, but i really hate them and i don't want to use them. Is in attendance any way to "stall" your extent for a few days? My friend said that she takes advil and it slows it down, but i don't construe that would work. Any suggestions?

Advil has a blood thinner. If you want to soft any cramps, take tylenol instead.

The single way to stall your length is if you were on the pill- you would save taking your pills instead of taking the placebo.

It's too past due now for the Depo shot. But if you are taking the pill, you could start your subsequent pack and not take the sugar pills. No sugar pills? No interval.

My ob/gyn tells me to pocket 2 ibuprofen a day because I never quit bleeding, or haven't for the recent past 6 months, but it does make the bleeding remarkably lighter. I read out take the 2 ibuprofen a time, and stick to tampons. Good luck and I hope your period doesn't bother you on your trip!

well I don't know why you hate tampons, they are approaching the best thing ever invented in my view, but no, unless you're already on birthcontrol you can't stop it from coming by taking the regular pills instead of the sugar ones. The depo shot is a good suggestion for subsequent time though, I would look into that or conventional birthcontrol pills if I were you.
