oh yeah that's completely average.. it's also normal to gain more bulk from said calories and get loads of pimples...

maybe it's not really the amount you ate that may have artificial your period, but a bit what kind of food you ate and how you ate themsimilar to my mom has told me b4 that during your time of year, it's not a great idea to eat/drink things that are cold (things from the fridge..) b/c according to her you might achieve stomach pains now and/or contained by the future (now is when you go and get like "cramps" b/c the coldness make your stomach glands or w/e contract, possibly)
