Pregnancy testing question something like hCG?

With a test that involves detection of hCG in urine i know it is involved beside a protein involved in building the placenta (is that right?) thus for "early detection". What if the try-out is taken later on surrounded by the pregnancy ie. a few months like 4 or 5. Would a positive result still come up. Thanks.

The pregnancy hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which is made by the placenta, tryout check for that hormone in the blood or urine. If you check it again in 4 or 5 mo the hormone plane would be higher than past.
