My Mother in law simply found out that she has stage 2 breast cancer, will she survive?

She is man really positive, but I am just wondering what is REALLY going on. The doctors told her that she requests to start Kemo Therapy ASAP and she will need a masectomy after that followed with Radiation. Does this nouns normal?

It's not necessarily a death sentence, some relations survive things far worse, and some people don't survive far slighter things.
