This is my first week of taking Yaz after taking Seasonale for 3 months, and I'm having some thickset spotting. I missed Wednesday and Thursday, but took them at 2AM on Friday morning, before getting final to my regular schedule on Friday afternoon. Since Friday I've be heaving some heavy brown discharge, which is appreciably old blood or something. Should I use a tampon for the bleeding? I've be on different birth control pills in olden times 2 years; Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, Seasonale, Yasmine, then Seasonale again, and immediately Yaz and I've never had spotting. Should I request a prescription for another birth control pill or will this breakthrough bleeding subside?
