ok,, im 19 and i just become sexually active a few months ago, very soon i went the clinic and im currently on the pill (yasmin) very soon i told my boyfriend of (1 year relationship) to go and check himself w a doc for any diseases.... he hasnt be around and of course me either(he is my first) in a minute i was merely wondering if its ok due to the circumtances for us not to use protection any more....i don't want to get pregnant unsurprisingly but since i'm on the pill and i take it every light of day at 3 all the time .....cell alarm)...thankx wat do you imagine????

You stipulation to be on the pill for a month or so for it to fully work...... so use protection during the month you are waiting for your BC to kick contained by.... I know they say BC isnt 100% decisive but if you use it right... it will prevent pregnancies.....also.... you may want to use protection when you are taking any prescribed meds such as anti-biotics and pain killer, they may alter the BC and cause an unwanted pregnancy...

To ensure you don't attain pregnant, keep using condoms as all right as your birth control pill...
Here's the thing: There is still a 1% uncertainty that you can get pregnant while on the pill.
Condoms, within is a chance it could break and you could become pregnant.

You're best bet if you're have sex and worried about getting pregnant is to use both...that means of access you're double safe...and other better to be safe than sorry, especially at your age!

Gurl don't never seize to the point that you think you can stop usin' protection....I kno that's your boyfriend and everything but I wouldn't never stop using protection unless I be married and knew he would be really organized to help wit the responsibility if I do carry pregnant...

I would keep on, better safe than sorry. I stopped using condoms once my boyfriend and I get married (my husband now) but at least you are making upright decisions. So save up the good work... but yes I would still use the glove effect nothing is 100%.
