When you first achieve your period, is it ordinary for it to be long?
If got my extent 3 months ago. Is it normal that it last 6-8 days and it comes like 5 days past its sell-by date of what I expected. (Irregular) Like I said I got my interval in March 2007.

It's absolutely ordinary. First periods are usually irregular for more or less 2 years or so.

There is no such thing as mundane and periods. Especially when you are immature. Do not worry temperament is doing it's job!The first few years I've have my period, I have it for 7 days , but now it's narrowed down to 4 days. Thank GOD! I'm not sure why this happen.
Yes it's normal for it to be long it freshly depends on how your body works.
mines like yours too. its simply that it isnt normal wen it first starts. a couple of years llater it should become more regular :)

congratulations... sometimes this happens to girls sometimes not, check near your mother or other female relatives to see how their cycles are... this can be inheritance. This does not sound irregular at adjectives.
If you bleed for more than 10 days check with your gynecologist otherwise greeting to the wonderful world of Womanhood... I hope you do better in the start than I did!... be sure to keep a calender or reminder, as to avoid any awkwardness!
PS... check with your gynecologist on the subject of Pads verses tampons... Tampons are not other safe. that menstrual blood is expected to flush out not to sit up in here with a "plug" holding it in!
