Cold Night Sweats?

Heyy.
I'm really concerned about this problem that I hold been have for the last couple of weeks, I'd stir up in the middle of the hours of darkness drenched with sweat freezing. Has this happen to anyone? what causes this? this is the first time that anything approaching this has happen to me. I'm not having nightmares or anything. I don't know what cause this. I'm really concerned because I read some stuff online that this can be a sign/symptom of cancer? I'm a 18 years old girl, can anyone serve me or tell me more more or less this? I have a doctors appointment this upcoming wednesday. THANKS so much.
