You should clean beside mild soap and water. You want to avoid raucous soaps, as they may increase your likelihood of getting an infection. As for a guy wash his mouth, I've never really heard that this is recommended, but I don't see that it would necessarily hurt anything. If you are afraid of getting an infection during oral sex in attendance are things such as latex barriers that can be put over the vagina during the commotion.
Also - do NOT douche! Douching is one of the most common reason for vaginal infections. Your vagina naturally cleans itself, and douching disrupts the stability of good microbes in the vagina.
