Answers: i been on birthcontrol for over a year and i remain the same cargo! i think that is only just an excuse ppl use! ppl who are on the pill get older over the years (just close to everyone else) and to me it just seems resembling omg i am gaining weight but i never gain this much weight it must be the birthcontrol! i think its alll lies! i never gain a pound! i even lost weight lol so please dont believe it! just munch through what u normally eat...if u do drink more u will gain more...but thats not because of the pill its because of what u are eating.
The truth is no, the pill does not MAKE you gain weight. What you enjoy to remember is that it may (just maybe) increase your appetite. So you just have to study what you put in your mouth. The pill itself doesn't put weight literally on you, but you will own to adjust your eating habits. If you observe bloat or water weight, don't worry--that's not excess weight, that's' just water retention. The best approach to get rid of water retention is by drinking pure dampen (lots of it) and avoiding caffeine and excessive sodium.
Don't worry, as long as you make some small change, you should be fine.

If its depo provera, RUN! Its a horrible drug that affects many women quite horribly.

If you gain counterweight on the pill, then you can always ask your doctor for another helpful of pill. Usually with a lower level of hormones. I'm on ortho-tryclin right immediately and have gained approaching 10 -15 pounds! I am going to ask my doc for orthotryclin light. And it should help next to the weight gain. I

My doctor swears up and down that girls just believe they are going to as soon as they filch the pill so they eat whatever they want and extremity up gaining weight. I own seen myself retain more water, but by no method have I gained freight that wasn't deserved or caused by the pill. I think you will be fine as long as you stay influential and eat pretty decent. Its a apposite choice, helps your period and for likelihood that you might come sexually active you have more protection but should still use a condom! Good Luckeconomically from personal experience...no... but there is some people out here that did gain alittle weight..i have to influence the depo shot makes you gain alot of weight..you get nothing to worry around yet :)
