Is it ok to start using birth control at 14?
Answers:
GUys and girls are welcome to answer?
Its ok...my friend have to do that at 13 for horrid menstrual cramps.
Just got my term today! Very nervous! Need suggestion!?
Wtf..i believe 14 is way too childish for birth control..any means of it!Is it true that a woman is fertile after pap smear testing?
you need to speak to your doctor about this one. I conjecture you are too young but if you are sexually helpful, and I pray you are not...then the pill is a better finding than being a mom at that age. Talk to your mom and your doctor to find out what is best for you.How can you catch a bigger but?
this is end of the world? you a short time ago kid go play soccer and own fun ,Should it hurt to use a tampon the second time i used it?
I prefer the shot but either one works if you purloin it when you are supposed to...good for you for one so responsible at your age...there are too may kids getting knock up these days...How do you know if a girl is hormonally moving?
umm, I would talk to your doctor and mother going on for it! If you are sexually active or have irregular periods consequently I would say yes! If both answers are no next I wouldn't worry just about BC right now. Fourteen is still kinda childlike! If its for medical reasons and one and only medical reasons consequently it should be ok. I had a friend who go on at 14 but only because she have terrible cramps.
Does highblood pressure acquire during pregnancy remains with you as you seize old?
If the other prospect is getting pregnant at 14, birth control is definitely your better choice. As far as whether the shots or the pill are best... that's sort of a factor depending on your lifestyle. The problem next to the shot is that, although it is easy to remember (only every 3 months)... if you own a bad criticism to it, you are stuck for that three months. You can stop taking the pill immediately if it bothers you.Hormonal contraceptives (the pill and the shot) are routinely prescribed to girls this age for an assortment of reasons. It's roughly thought to be okay for their health if they are at a indubitable level of bodily old age... a doctor can give you warning on this. A sexually active 14 year infirm NEEDS to still use condoms.
Any Nurses Around? "Female" problem, can you help?
You want to ask your doctor about this to know the advantages and disadvantages since you are still so babyish. But for me it's ok to take it fairly than having an unwanted pregnancy surrounded by the future if you're not wary. Shots is a bad notion, you will have irregular menses from time to time which is enormously irritating and disturbing from my experience.the shot is still birth control. But it's OK to start taking it when you get your extent, I take it to regulate mine. The point with the shot though is plentifully of people gain deeply of weight on it, more than the pill.
I passed a giant clot, any planning on what's going on?
When it comes to birth control, its a personal choice. I personally started on birth control when I become sexually active, but it really help with my period and I kinda wish I started sooner. With the shots, respectively body reacts differently. The shots are adjectives the hormones entering your body at once and the pills are once a day so your body can obtain used to it. Between the two, I'd recommend the pill, but maybe stir to Planned Parenthood to get better answers. If you're doing it to assist with your period, that's totally fine. However, if you're doing it because you're sexually active or thinking more or less becoming sexually active, I would rething in the region of having sex at your age. What does ''self tap that'' be determined?
I think you only shouldn't have sex, it's a mortal sinWell, although I am not one judgemental, 14 is a bit young to be have sexual encounters. Is it your notion or is yoru OBGYN putting you on them to help regulate your extent?
id say at 14 the pill would be better. specifically if your serious about it and remember to transport it everyday. also it will cut your periods by 3 or 4 days. so that will be a plus if you dread that time of the month. lol. if your going to own sex at that age its good that you are at tiniest being responsibal and human being protected. but also use a condom even if your on birth control. it will help the risk of you not getting pregnate. i simply hope that your in love beside whom-ever you choose to do it with. and plz if you do the pill, dont forget to whip it, if you miss even one day it can raison d`??tre it not to work and you can get pregnate. so please dont forget lol. im glad your self responisbal and safe. nearby are to many youthful girls out there not worried nearly getting knocked up. and im glad your not one of them. best of luck.
Okay. i know how to use tampons but when i put them contained by they hurt!!plz help!.?
Okay, economically there isn't any sense within being judgmental. She didn't read out she was have sex and for all you adjectives know she may just want to regulate her interval. I thought that womenanswers.org was a place for disinterested information and just answers contained by general, not preaching sermons. Several of you simply completely missed the question surrounded by general, seeing as how she probably looked-for to know if there is any medical consequences of taking birth control at such a young-looking age and which form is better for a younger person.Just because you hold certain beliefs doesn't distribute you a license to shove them down peoples throats, and try to make them seem to be like discouraging people.
Anyways, if you focus you can be responsible the pill would be a good choice. You call for to talk to a doctor going on for all your option though.
I just woke up and i am 11 and i enjoy stomach cramps? help?!!?
If you're have sex, yes.Otherwise, no.
The pill does NOT help cramps. That's a myth. At 14 your body is still adjust to a period diary, so taking hormones now would mess you up. Wait until you're at smallest 19 when your body is stable before you give somebody a lift any hormones.
My periods be bad and remarkably irregular when I was your age. I did not move about on any birth control for the first time for my periods until I be 19 for a year.
