Brown discarge after missing a b/c pill?

I missed my b/c pill on friday which was afternoon 8 of my 21 pills...anyways, today I've been have lots of brownish discharge. Do you think this is from missing the pill? I've be on this brand for 3 yrs and it not completely unusual for me to miss pills, but this hasn't even happened past...ooops

when you're on b/c pills, the hormones hold on to the lining of your cervix really thin. when you stop taking the pill, it sends your body the signal that it's time to start shedding. i surmise it's completely normal to hold some brown discharge after missing a pill, especially since you've been on it for 3 years and you're body is used to such a regular diary. if you continue your b/c pills and the brownish discharge continues, it might be time to christen your GYN for a consult. i would guess it's nothing to be concerned give or take a few.

I thought I had taken this one & after a few days of taking the others I found it lay over by the counter. But the subsequent month I was regular. Just be careful & try not to miss the pills. I assume it just screw up your system a little, depending on what pill you miss.
